Looking at the current dates some of us thought a meet up in Madrid was very workable and should be fun. Not sure how many of you guys live that way, or fancy a road trip but the more the merrier.

So far there's 4 of us from 2010's Berlin trip (me, Carlos, Ulster, Juan) plus Diamond Jim and a couple more of his/Ulster's mates.

They're all a decent bunch (even Ulster) so it should be a laugh.

If you get tickets for the gig come Wednesday let us know, and can anyone with any knowledge of the local let us know sometime regards places to stay, get drunk, etc....

If you guys are thinking about Madrid for this tour, man, try to get there early. Like an early morning arrival. Just walk around old downton, Plaza del Sol, have some CHURROS at Plaza de España for breakfast and just walk around after it. Maybe order a CARAJILLO, black coffe with a bit of Whiskey. There´s a bar every corner. Ask for the house wine or beer, eat what they have to offer. Spend the day walking around and stopping at every place you can find on your way to the Santiago Calderon Stadium. Have some more TUBOS.

Don´t act "foreigner" and just ask for a TUBO (large beer) and forget about Sangria. By the time you get to Santiago Calderon you'll have the time of your lives :)

Posted By: BallToucherDon't ask for sangria in Madrid, trust me, it´s all a cliché. Sangria is just a tourist rip off. You order sangria and you're yelling "foreigner". No spaniard ever asks for "sangria" at a bar, unless you´re in southern Spain and still, very unlikely. You order sangria and all you´ll get is cheap wine with Pepsi and some oranges.

Just drink beer and enjoy the tapas :)

Ask for a calamari sandwich and CALLOS.

I'm Spanish. It's that true. Real sangría it´s very hard to find. Normally is a beverage from a brick of "Don Simón" brand ( 1 Euro per brick). On the other hand, callos and the squid sandwich, not found everywhere quality,be careful mates. Also ask for COCIDO MADRILEÑO, will never forget it...;)

I'll be there if all goes to plan on Wednesday.
