    Great tune? or an AC/DC experiment gone horribly wrong?


    I can't stop myself from thinking of Tom Jones singing Sex Bomb when I hear the opening of this song.

    A Bomb. LB and Caught is the worst sequence you can hear in a AC album.

    Lyrically pish....riff is ok. If Beano had done the lyrics could have been quite tasty. Never listen to it....or the album it came from much either.

    think I should run for cover after I post this.......

    I like it. I think the riff is a good 'un and I love the solo. Some of the solos on Ballbreaker and Stiff sound slightly lazy to me but this is one of the songs where it seemed as if Angus had thought about it a little bit. Lyrics are a bit iffy, but I can live with that. I also like Angus' little melody thing on the chorus. Not saying it's a classic, but I really enjoyed the Ballbreaker LP and thought this was a decent track. I agree that Caught is probably the weakest on the album....

    Hey Bonlives, I don't like that tune that much actually, but that destroys my joke I guess. The riff is almost brutal in the beginning. But, I think it is one of the weaker songs in the band's repertoire.

    I didn't even read anyone's post yet. I will tell the truth and say that I really like this song. It has the classic AC/DC start and stop riff. Listen to Rudd, listen to the pre chorus, it is great. "blowing all night and day" LOL

    Now to the solo. It is a killer solo, what the hell does Angus do to get that sound, fuckin brilliant. Crank it loud and be honest with me. There is no way that this song deserves so much abuse. Great song AC/DC, this is the truth. Anyone who hates it is not a true fan......bwahahahahhahaha

    The first time I heard Love Bomb I think I shook my head and said "Five Years for this?" Over the years I have grown to not hate it as much and don't always skip now.

    The solo section is the best part of the song. I think it is pretty much a lazy attempt. It's a filler. The lyrics? haha what can I say...extremely silly

    I'll be honest - I don't hate it, at all. But I can't get Tom Jones singing Sex Bomb out of head when I here the start... and that is a real problem as you can imagine!

    Lyrics are shit but the actual song isn't half bad. I don't listen to it that often, but I wouldn't say it sucks.

    Not that bad. The lyrics border on embarrasing but the music and solo kick ass.

    I'm not keen on the chorus guitar line, sounds a little weak, great beat from Rudd tho, match. And Come And Get It is awesome :)
