    Good topic by the way - am amazed at the differences in the lists. My list isn't based on my view of the relative strength of each song (so I don't like TS more than SUL for example) but rather what each song meant for the album - TS meant more to TRE than HAAR did to BB.

    In terms of how excited I was by them...


    Thunderstruck - was just blown away by the awesomeness of this track, and how much my then girlfriend was affected by real r'n'r ....ah good times :)


    R'n'R Train - brilliant 'comeback', just fantastic to hear them again after thinking that maybe they were done.


    The other 3 were all a little disappointing in their immediate impact.  Although hearing Heatseeker on Radio 1 was brilliant. And the best thing about SUL was when Mark and Lard made it their single of the week on their afternoon Radio 1 show!

    Bonlives, this would be a good poll, just include every album (the early bon ones might be hard though)

    IMO you should have included Who Made Who in this topic as well, that song was a huge hit for the band and helped set them up for their commercial comeback in the late '80s and early '90s.

    I dont care what anybody says, thats a great track. some of the best guitar work they did in that era (83-88)
