      AC/DC rock music: gunforhire

I'm thinking of making a compilation of rare-ish AC/DC songs called FanTracks with live recordings from the soundboard at various shows. I'm deciding to make this mainly because of how disappointing the real Backtracks was and it's also aiming to be an album that you'd listen to on your iPod because having lots of the complete shows on it will take up a lot of space. I need some suggestions of songs to put onto the compilation because I'm getting a bit stuck, if anyone's interested.
Some songs I'm thinking of maybe including are:
    IALWTTT (Haymarket '77)
    Soul Stripper (Festival Hall '74)
    FOTW (Dallas '85)
    TTWIWRNR (Johnson City '88)
    WAOY (Jaap Edenhal '79)
    Rocker (Nashville '78)
    The Jack (San Francisco '77)
    BPDG (Agora '77)
    YSMANL (Phoenix 2000)

Are the suggestions I made any good (be brutally honest)?

Both of those songs exist in SBD form. BIB from Largo '83 and PTFOY from Largo '81 so they're valid choices

Posted By: ACDCLIVE11would use a YSMANL from 83 to 86 if it was me. even if its not a console.
there is a good one here.

I've listened over some from that period in my collection and I've decided on Melbourne '81.
Actually, now I'm not so sure. The Phoenix 2000 version is just as good.

Which version do you guys prefer?

only my thinking 83 to 86 are best ones the guitars seem to have more punch.
brian has that killer spoken intro.

I would've used the Detroit version but it was already on Backtracks. I'll relisten to Dallas, Irvine and Austin

I made a huge compilation of B-Sides and other cool songs all lossless but I never shared it,because I was still tracking down songs/wanted to keep adding lol.

I made a boot for Spellbound a few years ago that had a majority of those songs.I was thinking of calling mine between the tracks of I ever finished it.

Will be cool to hear what you do though man.

Do you think that the suggestions I made in the first post are any good?
  10.
Touch too Much, Rock N Roll Singer, Sin City and Rock N Roll Damnation would make nice additions.
  11.
It doesn't have to be a console; just around the same quality as one
  12.
I think I'll stick with roughly the same ones I picked at the start
  13.
I'll upload a rough version soon and get some people's opinions on whether to change the tracks or not
  14.
The first one's going to be a Bon-only one

I lost the original compilation RAR because the laptop that contained the file (among every other bastard thing I wished I had backed up) shit itself. Still have a lot of the files you sent though, that was a fantastic compilation. Can't thank you enough for that mate.

Touch Too Much was never played live and I don't have a console version of Rock n Roll Singer. Sin City's going on though. I don't think I have RnR Damnation either (I'll have to check)

I am quite positive (: Ya see,I took that bootleg as a template,a user posted it on acdcbootlegs years ago under the name Let There Be Blood, which has all the songs you just listed.

I went and sourced all those songs from various CD,DVD/vinyl/soundboard boots so they were perfect quailty.

Not only did I have those songs, but I added songs that existed in fantastic quality such as Gone Shooting from Nashville and ect. Basically rare songs that weren't official B sides.

Mine was a huge quality upgrade (although the original boot sounded great too, not taking away from it.)

May get around to finishing it eventually, still packed away on my hard drive.

(Oh and spellbound I kept that bootleg I made you, since I remixed a bunch of the songs especially for that boot.Could prob find it as well.)

    They are fine choices man.

Just don't be like me, I had a lot of songs built up for my bootleg, always wanted to add and add more, to the point I lost interest lol.Don't get consumed by it haha, I have figured out you can't get 'em all in, save a few for Volume II.

@DC: If I were you, I'd switch Soul Stripper from Festival Hall with Can I Sit Next to You (or Show Business) and Baby Please Don't Go, and then used Soul Stripper from that BBC recording. I'd also use She's Got Balls from Bondi Lifesavers instead of the Agora version.

    Either way, it sounds great!

I have one from Holland in 1978 that I'll add
