    As you may have read from the title, I'm looking for a copy of the first CD release of "Flick Of The Switch" by Atlantic, and I'm not gonna pay a ridiculous price for it either. This is a picture of what the disc for this version looks like:

    May I ask if there is a reason (other than obvious just wanting to collect it)?

    Is the sound quality different?

    I have it in flac, both the atlantic european, american, and japanese, with all the artwork. (got some obsessive friends in the east)

    If you want a facsimile, just lemme know.

    No way that applies to the cd, it was Barry diament who mastered it.

    Maybe it was a vinyl only thing? I dunno. Someone on the forums had the original release, I think Pod, and said it sounded muddy as hell.

    Boina Scott:What part of the world are you in? Are you selling one of them? What's a facsimile?

    Spellbound:Meh, I can't really tell much of a difference. I have original Atlantic versions of Back In Black, FTATRWSY and '74 Jailbreak on CD and the first CD pressings of High Voltage and Let There Be Rock and they sound just fine.

    a facsimile means I'd do a bootleg version for you, simple as that - I could even put the original label on it.

    Once again I'm in brazil and as many trees we mighthave here, those things sure don't grow on 'em.

    Original mix of FOTS is really muddy. In a way I really like it. The last set of remixes improved the sound quite considerably.

    i have a FOTS 1983 european press, i think it has A-3 on the matrix number, will this have the original mix? (it's a bit late to get the lp out and play it!)
