..but they are not the 5 I would pick....

    Skies On Fire
Wheels (Obviously, as it is the bastard son of Shoot To Thrill and High Voltage :)
She Likes Rock And Roll (didn't like this at all at first, one of my faves now)
Money Made (perfect song for the strip)
    Spoilin' For A Fight

    et vous?
  1.
I'm happy with RnR Train, War Machine, and Big Jack. Those fit in well and are worthy of a place in the set. AG and BI are, for me, not so worthy. My other two picks would therefore be Skies On Fire and Money Made. You say how cool it would be if Money Made was the strip song in the set, and I have to agree. So that's my 5....
  2.
She Likes Rock n Roll is a great song. Wasn't sure at first but now its definitely one of my faves. Its got groove and swing and some funky basswork from Cliff. Also love those gang vocals as well.

My 5 would be : Train
    Big Jack
    Spoilin
    SLRnR
    Black Ice

Wouldn't mind Skies, Wheels, AG, War Machine either. They'd have to play 3 hours tho so they can also fit in Bad Boy Boogie, If You Want Blood, Still Upper Lip, High Voltage,Lets Get it Up, Guns for Hire,Walk All Over You, Bedlam in Belgium, Sin City and RnR Damnation...not that I'm asking much

Wheels the bastard son of STT and HV? What the fuck? :)  If those two songs got together for a night of passion, Wheels would not be the product :)

    My 5 would be:

    RNRT

    Big Jack

    Spoilin

    WM

    SOF

SLRNR - again another great track, but the lyrics!!

Do you think there's any chance whatsoever of IYWB being added on this tour?

(posted this earlier with AG, and now editing it - I agree, AG is weak live)

  3.
Ha, ha! That's exactly what I thought - HV and Shoot To Thrill are two of my favourite DC numbers, so I'd rather they weren't seen as the irresponsible parents who raised the Bastard offspring that is "Whheeeeeeeeels!"...... Jem, I just don't think we're all ever going to agree on this one....

Nope, although you should never say never, I guess. I think they wheeled out IYWB for the 03 dates to the crowds' utter approval. So if they haven't seen fit to add them to the indoor show (probably a higher percentage of DC nutters), then I really can't see them adding it for the outdoor leg. We shall see, though....

Edited my post above to remove AG

Seriously, that "Wheeeeeeeeeeeeels" bit cuts my head in half... like a bad headache - back to the drawing board boys!

Please, AC/DC if you're listening, add IYWB to the setlist - for me, no one else, just me.

I think that there will at least one 'surprise' song for the stadium gigs, they did it on SUL tour with UTMNIY.....
  4.
Hope so...wonder what it might be? I could hear Brian doing a good "Kicked In The Teeth...."

That said I would like to hear High Voltage one last time..........
  5.
Yeah, I've never actually seen them do HV live - it was a regular in the set through the 80s and early 90s, then it seemed to disappear. Am I right in thinking The Razors Edge tour was the last time it's been heard?

Yes, last time I heard was at the '91 Donington show. The build up after the break down back into the final chorus used to be my favourite part of the show. Although the 79/80 version the boys used to play is probably the best.

Anyone here heard WMW played live?

I was listening to the AC/DC Live album today and love this song - it doesn't seem to get a big crowd reaction and probably isn't a track the crowd would really get into anyway, but I'd love to hear this track live

They played it on the '88 tour but that was during my 'let's go totally spastic all the time and pay fuck all attention to the band' phase. They tended to play it just before the halfway point I think so it worked well as a mid -paced tune...

It comes across as the perfect mid-set track... just easing the crowd back down to earth

Not sure it is worth revisiting these day with so many 'classic' currently out of the setlist...HV/Jailbreak/BBB/IYWB etc

Nah i agree, plenty others Id prefer to hear before WMW
  6.
Me too. I love WMW, but, at the risk of boring you all, these are the songs that I'd rather hear...

    Live Wire
    Jailbreak
    Dog Eat Dog
    Go Down
    Overdose
    Gone Shootin'
    What's Next To The Moon
    Kicked In The Teeth
    Riff Raff
    Down Payment Blues
    Sin City
    Walk All Over You
    Touch Too Much
    Night Prowler

...and those are just the Bon-era numbers off the top of my head.

Awesome list there mate! Live Wire would be a killer opener... a trip back to the good old days.

Does anyone know if the band has ever said that it wont play certain tracks out of respect for Bon?
  7.
I know that they used to say that they wouldn't play The Jack in Jonno's very early days, but after that, I'm not sure. I never thought they would play Ride On, but then the played it in Paris, so.....

    The rumours just say LWTTT

Could be quite difficult to do LWTTT given the bagpipes, but can you imagine a full Scottish bagpipe group coming out on stage and ripping through this song in Glasgow!

  8.
I would like to see Smash N' Grab in the setlist instead of preferably Anything Goes. But I don't think it would happen that they exclude Anything Goes. So substitute it for Black Ice then, although I think the title song is good. As for other songs it would be great to hear Sin City again. Also, Gone Shootin', Walk All Over You, Problem Child and Bad Boy Boogie to name a few. Live Wire is a fantastic song, but I am not sure if Live Wire suits Brian's vocal style. There is a bootleg recording of Brian singing Live Wire and I don't think it came across that well.

I was listening to a boot with Sin City on it a couple of days ago...fuck me that song owned. I've not heard in live for years, so many great songs. Live Wire is a proper Bon song for me ... "If you're looking for trouble, I'm the man to see" song by Bon has real meaning, Beano doing it has never really worked imho
