Too much time on my hands....a setlist which I think covers all the based without using a single song from the current setlist

We've been saying that for months GZ - what the hell do you have to do to get a message through to the band to shake things up?

we all wish they would mix in some other stuff but it 'aint gonna happen... ever. their set list is pretty much unchanged since 1981 except for a few additions here and there.

The message is definitely reaching the band. There's people all over the place begging for a new setlist or different songs, telling them in person, handing letters to them, talking with the sounds guys. The question has got to be why in hell do they ignore it. Why play IYWB, Damnation, Gone shootin and what's next to the moon in 2003 and then forget about them on the world tour. It just doesn't make sense from a hardcore fans point of view. From a "want to sell and promote the records" point of view it does though. And who knows what the record company has to say after all.

 

this setlist i could very well see happening if they were willing to pull out a few classics they played not too long ago. if we all keep asking them, this is what we might get.

Long Way To The Top(one of their most famous, they should open with it)
RnR Train( the single, saving it until second though)
Shoot to Thrill(get this out of the way at the beginning)
Thunderstruck(had to throw it in somewhere)
Back In Black(see above)
Sin City(brian seems to always do good on this one and seems comfortable with the whole band)
Stiff Upper Lip( it was the single from the last album)
The Jack( crows singalong, one of their hits)
Who Made Who( actually probably hard as a rock would work better if they wont do who made who, or maybe something off of flick )
War Machine ( another black ice song, maybe rotated with Big Jack, Anything Goes, or the Title Track every few shows)
Jail Break ( this one usually goes over good, plus brian sings it good)
Gone Shootin'(strip)(something different for the strip, plus a classic)
Hells Bells( they always come out with Bells after the strip)
Guitar solo (Brian takes a break, they could put this anywhere really)
Whole Lotta Rosie (usually towards the end of the show.)
You Shook Me( also towards the end, the big one)
Dirty Deeds( this could be switched with SUL i guess)
TnT( only because they have to)
Let There Be Rock(the big closer...not really)

Highway to Hell(gotta keep this as the encore)
For Those About To Rock(maybe this could follow LWTTT if they dont wanna do it at the beginning)

well when they played belfast 1991 they played for over 2 hours and 3/4 encores!!!!!!!!!!!!!! plenty of vits and they would be fine

Just fuckin change it a little bit - I've said it elsewhere, but even if you changed just one song a night and rotated no more than 5 songs - we'd fuckin' love it. Listen to the fans, it's dickheads like us who buy all 4 different versions of the new album plus the gatefold vinyl.....
