    Good song. Discuss.
  2.
AC/DC's first climate emergency song. I prefer their second one: "Systems Down".
Will there be a trilogy of AC/DC climate emergency songs?
  3.
It has a good riff, and I’ve always liked the pre chorus riff. This song has grown on me a lot since it was released. It’s one of my favorites off the album now
  4.
    Slaps.

    Dissenters get slapped.
  5.
They also did Burning Alive on the ballbreaker album

I never really like it... for me is on the same level as Hard Times Code Red and Kick When You're Down

Very good song (one of the very few on ROB). The riff is killer as are Brian’s vocals and Phil’s drumming. I also like the bv’s. They should have saved this one as a closer for PU. It’s a million times better than Code Red.
  6.
Very good riff, although not typical AC/DC riff. Shows that the band can branch out a bit more in unknown territory. Good song.

Emission Control is pretty much the only song I like on the album, DOW too.
  7.
Very very disappointing last song on the album, like every album since 1980 apart from Ballbreaker.

Spellbound and TMW say hold my Beer
  9.
    Both 5/10
  10.
Im talking quality of Squealer, whole lotta Rosie, night prowler, RNRANP.
  11.
Squealer and Spellbound are criminally underrated

I hope so. “Blow it Out Your Tailpipe” would be a great trilogy closer.

Another Zeppelin influenced lick but nice.

Not fond of the bridge part kicking in with this high trebly sound and full Def Leppard BV modus (that BoB completely exploited on PU sadly)
Brian's doing a great job and it's the only part of the album where Angus shines with an outro solo that is reminiscent of that in Back in Black.

This post almost makes me want to listen to Emission Control. Almost.

I see why people don’t like it. But you’ve gotta give that the guitar riff just sounds fabulous.

I went back and listened to it after reading what you say here.
You’re only absolutely correct about that outro solo, it’s brilliant. But for the love of god I wish BoB would stop insisting on Angus doing those slides/pick scrape things on the low E all the time. The more I notice it the more I hate it.

It is about farting, right? Cow farts are a huge emission and mankinds as well, but the cows more so.

So Ang says dont eat beef = less cows = less cow fart emissions = better diet = less mankind fart emissions = good for your health = good for your soul

Uuu yessah, we got something real special for ya, oooo yessah, I tell you what we got, we got some emission control for’ya - ya’rrrrdi? Ooooooh
  17.
I always interpreted it as a love letter to viagra - and Def Leppard.

This would be true if Malcolm and Brian didn’t enjoy crop dusting each other on stage

Little known fact: Love Bomb is a scathing critique of the military-industrial complex.

I love when Angus dips into funk influence with his riffs. Meanstreak is another great one.

I feel like Angus' solos became more fluid after he started using Fil's Schaffer-Vega system.

    Not right now, thank you!

Alex also has a good theory about the song meaning.

Moose my man. Congrats once again on Orazio Bambino Benito Vinnie Vincent jr!

Lol thanks but I don’t think I’m this feminine and our baby won’t me named after him.
