That was fun. Brian funny as always.

That was fun. I'll be riding that high until the old codgers get here during their oatmeal and prune break to bitch about it. Oh and sweet Stewart Copeland is on now.

Thought he sounded more comfortable on LTBR. Strange Hawkins came out for second verse of BIB, can only imagine Brian asked him to be on standby for the song?
  2.
What the hell did Justin Hawkins do?! He absolutely ruined BIB!!
The idiot couldn’t remember the lines!!!
  3.
He can only give 100% but not quite full match fitness

But amazing to see him up there blasting it
Mind what fuck was Justin Hawkins doing
  4.
Anyone see Wolfgang Van Halen nail 2 classic VH songs earlier?
  5.
Probably just taking advantage of the opportunity to sing with a hero. It's all for his bro so I don't think Brian minded much.

Brian did seem to beckon Hawkins on stage. Still, Hawkins wasn’t up for letting that mic go was he?!

Just caught up with BIB/LTBR on social media, who was that nonce in the pink who rudely grabbed the mic off Brian? amazed Brian never lamped him, how rude

    Darkness Dude :)
  6.
Are you guys serious, come on?!

I don't see AC/DC ever taking the stage again. Brian was already tired after 1 song. Okay the band behind him was a mess and had and had the speed way too fast, but still I don't see it happening again. Enjoy your retirement Brian. Much love from a true AC/DC fan.

Give Brian an 8/10 for tonight, not quite there in making me think his voice could last a 2hr+ show but he was good

Thanks, total lack of respect, Brian must been fuming, murdered the lines he sung too

Brian waved to him himself to join.

Brian needs to step up his conditioning for a full-blown concert. I hope he does, because he looked like he enjoyed being on stage again.
  11.
Brian sounded OK to be fair in comparison to his most recent performances, held his pitch a little better and sounded a bit cleaner at his top end, but I do think a 2 hour show is still in his locker? Nah I can't see it, sadly. He's 75 next month and will likely be heading for 76 by the time/if the ever actually announce anything. That being said maybe he could squeeze one final show out with a slightly reduced setlist... who knows really. Angus isn't the type of guy to do anything by half measures.

I found Brian's performance very pleasantly surprising. Yes, his conditioning needs to improve in order to tour, but his voice was at least as good as in 2015, on BIB he sounded very good to my ears for his age, didn't look like he had any trouble hearing-wise, and most of all – he fucking enjoyed being on stage.

Been out all day, just came in and watched the Brian bit on YouTube

Is he alright? His face looked really puffy and he seemed out of breath

    Looked a bit like 2003

Musically, it was what it was. Just nice to see him out on the boards again

I missed a lot of the rest of the gig but it was a pretty choking moment when they got Taylor Hawkins’s son up to drum on one of their songs.

Meanwhile I’m genuinely surprised that a six hour charity gig watched worldwide by 1.4 million people has so far only raised $48000?!

This is why I wondered if Justin H was on standby and beckoned onstage.

Can’t see Brian doing a full blown tour after that. Not happening.

Yeah was a bit of a worry that
  16.
Brian surely is not tour ready physically. Reminded me of 2003.
Voice? Not bad but i wonder how he sounded back around that time they filmed the first video from PU, Shot in the dark. They rehearsed and was pretty much tour ready. When was that? Early 2019?

Not so sure of a last tour now. And i really doupt Angus will bring in Axl Duck.
  17.
That was great to see, awesome tribute

I still think the boys could do a vh1 2.0 50th anniversary special with interviews and package it up.

We can only dream of a handful / farewell shows
  18.
It was absolutely amazing seeing him back on stage but let's be honest that was pretty weak. Even tuned downed to D he still struggled. He must have spoken to Justin beforehand as he definitely waved at him to come out and help. I still had a massive grin on my face and he got the biggest cheer when they introduced him.

Standout for me was Wolfgang VH absolutely nailing On Fire and Hot For Teacher. Liam Gallagher was surprisingly decent as was The Pretenders.
Dave's voice was completely shot by the FF set but he'll have been talking to everyone all week plus doing rehearsals.
  19.
I read on another forum that Brian said “see you in 9 months” as he left the stage. I’ve checked and it’s not really audible what he says, anyone else hear it?
  20.
I thought Brian was awesome. Voice sounded great during BIB and he was having a blast. He clearly wants to be out there and I hope they get it done.

Band not really in the pocket very much. Just shoes how special it is what AC/DC do. Brian can still do his bit.

Thank god that weirdo who gate crashed the performance of BiB and stole the mic didn't last too long on stage. Hope security gave him a good kicking.

Pretty sure he said “I’m done!” Not taking the piss here, that’s what I heard as he was just about to head backstage. He seemed pretty exhausted so makes sense.
  21.
What a man Brian is. Sounded pretty darn good playing with that mess of music behind him. Sounded higher than usual. He clearly gave it his all. Clearly out of fitness. For me, it’s probably over. Can’t see him putting out 2 hour shows and touring on top of it.
COVID probably cost us a tour.
    But he did his part.

We’ve been critics of Acdc sounding messy on last tour but JFC that ending on LTBR was a complete and utter mess.

Great to see Brian again though. Love that man!
  22.
Brian... overall good, not great but decent.
Justin Hawkins. What the fuck was that all about? He just did not belong up there for so many reasons...and I quite like his YouTube channel.

I hope this latest performance by Brian reassures the fans. Brian is the oldest member, and he sounded fantastic at Wembley- a million miles better than the RoB tour. Yes, it was only a handful of songs (I only saw BiB & LtbR) but AC/DC can easily do a Stones; announce 15 gigs and leave it at that (which is realistic for what Cliff wants) for a while and stagger it. Not everyone who wants to see them will but they can do this. And Angus is even younger and they have ALL said following Power Up they want to perform. Patience, and we will have 2023 AC/DC live dates, they will be back. There is no way Angus has 0 plans.
  23.
Brian tends to prove us wrong when in doubt. He can get in shape and do this but has to be next year. This is his last run IMO.

He’s like 73? I’m seeing Springsteen next year, he’s 70. It’s a different ball game, but let’s not out AC/DC on a pedestal here. They can do it, easily.
  24.
Lars looked like he was having a blast playing with Brian, and he didn’t sound half bad either. Honestly for Brian’s age I thought he sounded decent. I wonder how much he rehearsed. He looked like he was having fun and that’s all that matters to me. If he’s enjoying himself that’s what matters most

Exactly. There’s too many people on here thinking they know Brian personally, psychoanalysing the band, their condition, covid etc. Brian sounded amazing, in tune for a change. They can and will do some gigs. Too much negativity on here.
