The Big Red Machine album stand out for me.

Supergroups are normally shit and less than the sum of their parts. Maybe BRM are the exception that proves the rule.

  2.
    Royal Blood - Typhoons
Silk Sonic - An Evening With Silk Sonic

    Honorable Mention
Rett Maddison - Pin Up Daddy

Tremonti and MammothWVH albums are most listen to for me

Thunder, All The Right Noises. No doubt. Luke Morley is one of the few riffmasters left of the classical school of rock. Song writing genius.
  7.
    Iron Maiden - Senjutsu
Cradle of Filth - Existence is Futile

The new Volbeat album that just came out is really good and heavy, and might be my favorite rock album, but I'll need to give it some more time.

Still really like Wolf Alice Blue Weekend.

I like the WA album too. I really thought it would be the one to push them into the mainstream. Probably showing my age just using the word "mainstream" but you know what I mean...

If you look at the big summer rock festivals it's the same headliners on an endless loop for the last ten years - Muse, Chilli Peppers, Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters, Metallica, the Killers, Pearl Jam... new blood is needed at the top and I hoped WA would provide it.

The saxophone solo in "Wait A Minute My Girl" is one of my top musical highlights of 2021.

At around the 33 sec. mark for those a you who have an extremely short attention span (the entire song is only 2:18).

I might be watching too many 80's movies or something. Last night, I watched St-Elmo's Fire for the first time, and it had a lot of sexy sax in the soundtrack.

You better watch out, next thing will be a poster of Tina Turner's Sax player in your bedroom. Come to think of it; that could also work as an aphrodisiac for your wife :)

Now this is an interesting question indeed

Maybe I put It the wrong way, i have for 30 years been fixated to a certain Group of bands and very seldom any new addition has made It. And as my fav bands music input has slowed down, there have not been alot to take in, as new music is considered.

    Alice In Chains
    Soundgarden
    KISS
    Ramones
    Faith No More
    Judas Priest
    ACDC
    Guns N Roses
    W.A.S.P.
    Twisted Sister

These ten bands are 90% of the music I have listened to or bought in the last 30+ years and I like the approach. Fits me, new music leaves me cold, cant help It. I just smell plastic not even a new car smell in most of the newer groups

The last ”new” band out from my radar I really got into was System Of A Down - Toxicity but It did not stand the test of time for me
