I enjoyed both equally on release - maybe RoB a hair more - but one year on I am definitely playing PU up more - it's got a depth and, dare I say it, variety, RoB lacks and - from everything Angus said (the Beatles debut reference etc) was never intended to have.

I think I’ve played PU more often in the first two days after it’s release than I have played ROB in 7 years.

The last time I listened to anything on RoB except for the title track and PB was back in 2017. I play PU in my car every week. It's not even close, and it shows how good of an album PU is.

I do like both but PU is the clear winner here. I really dig the first five tracks of ROB but the rest is no big deal. PU is more consistent and I'm listening to it on a far more regular base.

I listen BI and PU regularly. ROB not so.

Can’t remember the last time I played ROB, but I do like it

Still play PWR/UP every week or so, but there’s so much music out there you can’t focus on just AC/DC every time you want to immerse yourself obviously

I like both albums to be honest. I certainly prefer Power Up though and listen to it much more than Rock or Bust but in saying that I still like ROB and don't understand why it cops so much crap on this forum. Baptism of Fire and Playball are fantastic songs and overall the album is not that bad at all. Power Up admittedly is on another level and in my opinion their best album since Flick and personally I even prefer it over FTATR.

Power Up has made RoB seem largely irrelevant - however, it is still a good album.Just doesn't have a lot of meaning in comparison to PU.

I love RoB and just like BI I don't over listen them, but they do spin a few times throughout a year. Since PU is the most recent I tend to listen a bit more but even though AC/DC is my favorite band of all time, I do listen to a lot of other stuff.

Never been out top ten albums I've got on in car since came out. I'm happy to let it run without skipping.
  6.
I listened to ROB about as much as I do PU.

That being said, as much as I love ROB, it’s starting to become clear that PU is the better album by a long shot,

PU every day and it's still in CD player in the car which tells you that i love it. ROB I haven't played it for ages but do like it.

I love rock or bust, but power up overshadows it

12 months on and I still listen to it regularly.
Rock or bust didn’t really have any songs that changed with me over time, a few did grow on me but ended up out of rotation

The pwr up tracks I considered weaker at release like rejection and kick you have grown on me massively and are now up there with my favourites - bringing the whole album up a notch. I even find myself humming my least fave song code red

I enjoyed ROB when it was first released and I still somewhat enjoy it for what it is. I think there’s some good stuff on the album (title track, PB, DOW, BBF) but PU really makes ROB feel mediocre. I probably wouldn’t of thought this if PU was never released but it just really makes ROB seem like rehearsals. Again I enjoy ROB for what it is because it really doesn’t need to exist and for most circumstances it shouldn’t exist. I do think ROB has some of if not the best sounding backing vocals on any of their albums.

PU makes most of the albums since 90 (maybe 83) feel redundant but I’d say ROB is probably their worst album. Agree title track, PB and DOW are good but the rest are mediocre, weak songs.

Nail on head. Exactly my feelings - RoB is a fun record with much going for it but is overshadowed in retrospect by PU.

PwRUP is the superior album, not even close. A year out, I was no longer listening to ROB. PwRUP is still a weekly listen. I love seven tunes on PwRUP, while ROB, just two...... Others are okay, I like them, just do not love them.....

It's been a little while since I've been on here, but I thought I'd pop in after putting PWR/UP on the turntable for the first time in a little while. Shot In The Dark and Realize still hit me with the same punch as they did when I first heard them. I've not played the album in its entirety since shortly after its release, but I have played some of the tracks now and then on the iPod when commuting.

Oh like a gazillion times more as It is a gazillion times better

ROB i have not spun (the whole album) for years, Title track (TOP10 ACDC song to me), Dogs of Way and Hard Times are on my playlist. Others I have not really listens to… well I have not listened to Powerage for at least five years, but PU - still every month and when I go back to it, it is in heavy rotation

I certainly play Power Up more but that said,I do enjoy Rock Or Bust as well. Power Up is a stronger album though.

I still play PWRUP every week. Much of the reason is that I had never dreamed that Brian would return. And then there is a very good album, given the circumstances. I play Rock or Bust sometimes but it has fallen a bit in the shadows ...

I just played it 4 times in a row the past couple days in the car...haven't listened to it in months....it has its charms but PWRup blows it out of the water...its likes they released an album full of demos.
