    It's really, really good! Very often the cheaper versions of famous guitars are on the disappointing side, especially quality wise, but this is really living up to it's excellent reviews. It's got a good variety of sounds thanks to the active pickup controls, a suprisingly lovely neck, and overall definitely feels a lot more expensive than it was. I don't think I'd be complaining if I'd paid double the price to be honest. If you're thinking of getting one, I can highly recommend!

    Thanks, DD! I don't know if I can afford a bass in near future, but this one is surely the one I'd get.

    Also, what a collection! Is that the Gretsch Double Jet, which is pretty much a cheaper Mal's signature model? I considered buying that in 2020, but it would have been too much of a hassle to convert it to a lefty. I remember the raving reviews of that axe here on this forum. Have you changed its stock pickups?
