    Sad to hear about this. He was an incredibly knowledgeable music journalist and was one of the lucky few to see AC/DC's first gigs in London.

    Sad news indeed. A very good music journalist and a proper ac/dc fan. Loved the way how he could talk about music.

    One of the guys belonging to a generation that sadly now tends to leave us one by one. I enjoyed his book on AC/DC.

    Ah sad to read this. He seemed a real music geek (a good thing). The few times I went in the Crobar in London he was always there, same table, chatting away to pretty much anyone it seemed. I have a very early book by him on the band- maybe from 82(?)

    Sad news indeed. I grew up reading his reviews in Kerrang magazine and he sure loved the DC. RIP

    Lovely guy met him several times on our trips down to gigs in London he was always in The Crow Bar on a Friday night.
