Posted By: MeanstreakDLR can get many milfs even if he is going downhill. That’s why Gene fired him, he feared the competition.

Add a 90-minute set from Motley Crue replete with drum solo.
Posted By: Wholelottatobenowadays he just mumble thru the lyrics, and stumble around on the stage in strange costumes. Yep he is a clown.

And yet it’s still somehow not as lame as DLR these last 20-30 years
I predict the painter will be headlining this tour by October
Posted By: BrianyGet DLR and Bobby Davro to stand side by side, get them to do this,
and see if you can still tell who's who.
Posted By: PowerRagedI love Gene, but he is a professional at talking too much. Commenting on DLR in such a way wasn't called for.
I dig Van Halen - but Roth has been a Vegas-y, goofy-dad, Hefner lookalike for some time, now. And sounds awful live.
Paul Stanley may be using backing vocal tracks for some songs (I've seen them live 3 times on this tour, and it's not every song) - but that doesn't make Gene wrong about David Lee Roth, either. But, glass houses.
Paul Stanley did comment after Gene though -
"Speaking of David Lee Roth… I remember seeing him in the ’70s with Van Halen at MSG and thinking to myself ‘There’s a new sheriff in town.’ Just amazing what he had evolved into in a few short years. On stage, he’s still Diamond Dave!”
