Hi Everybody, Enjoy your day with this new upload of mine on my YT Channel. I upgraded the recording from Hammersmith Odeon, December 1979, featuring a different HTH Tour Setlist, including It's A Long Way to The Top and Baby Please Don't Go.
I hope you appreciate my attempt in this small project and play the show as loud as you can.

My mate went to this show. I got the miserable "Sold Out" letter in the post with returned cheque. One of the alltime gigs I would most like to have attended!

Awesome, I was unaware of the significant set changes. A real treat.

Are you sure they opened with it? On the HTH tour they started every gig with Live Wire, and then played Shot Down In Flames 2nd. Very occasionally they started with Riff Raff (2nd night at Manchester Apollo) but I've never seen that they actually opened with Shot Down before. Your video, (and all the others I've seen/heard from this gig) are exactly the same, and could be edited to start after Live Wire. The crowd doesn't sound like "before the gig starts" crowd. There is no obvious noise, then a roar when the house lights go down. Listen to virtually any live bootleg from before the band comes on. Crowd noise, then a huge roar of approval as the venue goes dark.

It's the real deal. It was their 5th show at the Hammy in about a month and god knows how many in London in 3 and a bit years. A real for the fans show.
