    10. Gone Shootin’

    12. Ride On

That was an interesting exercise. Crazy to think that songs like: IALWTTT, RNRS, The Jack, Jailbreak, HABPTB, GAB, HTH, GGR and SDIF are not on the list. And songs that I absolutely adore, like GD, DED, SC, WNTTM, and NP, would probably end up outside top 20! These five Bon albums and the first three with Brian are the pinnacle of rock music.

on a different note: I do enjoy HAABPTB, BBB and PC, and even LTBR, more on the live album IYWB than on the original LP's

Incredible how Bon's most iconic vocal performance is missing from many of these lists.

Kind of ... and kind of not, because it's probably the only Bon song that has entered "mainstream pop culture" to such a high degree.

Or maybe I should say: That song & Bon's performance on it ... is edged so deeply into my brain, I actually don't ever have to listen to it anymore XD

Sure those are his most well-known songs, but they don't really have as an iconic level as HTH for a wider audience. It's simply *the* one Bon era song even complete ACDC ignoramuses actually know. If you ask them about Long way or TNT, they're most of the time not sure if they heard it before or just heard "about it".

(Also the Thread Title says "Your", not "Definitive" Greatest Hits;)

I don't know what it's like in the rest of the world, but i'm quite sure that in Germany HTH is not only the most iconic Bon song, but actually the most iconic AC/DC song. When i took part at a running event last year, i was wearing an AC/DC shirt, and every spectator, who recognized my shirt, shouted "Highway To Hell" at me.

Don't you think it's true even internationally? Even Billie Joel covered HTH not anything else in memory of Mal on one of his NY Live Shows, right?

That's what I was trying to say. "Iconic" is simply related to "most well-known", so you can't ignore the "casuals" in that. Would BIB be the "highest-selling" Rock record without the casuals?;)

In Casual Land (where all the hot Dutch soccer moms reside), Back in Black is the most iconic AC/DC song. However, Thunderstruck is catching up.

You know in Holland BIB never was really big as an album and as a song. Whole Lotta Rosie has for many years been their most famous song overhere and their biggest hit. Also in the altime top xxxx charts. It only was suppassed by Thunderstruck and HTH in recent years.

Yes, and also, weren't the majority of the band members born there?

Recently, I was amused at a "Conan in Australia" Clip: A woman was supposed to help him get the Australian way of talking right & she brought some examples of how things
    are called differently in Australia.

Of course "ACCADACCA" came up as well, and she added "We can call them what we want, they were born here" XD
