    Bottom line, IMO, is that as each day passes our chance of new material, or any live gigs, gets smaller and smaller. Such a shame.

    Lots of spoiled kids on here. It’s a silly sentiment but... and I guess this is a question for JonAlba and Jem... I sure hope the folks in the band and in the organization (and all of thier families) realize how much simple gratitude there is out in fandom for the work and sacrifices they have made to keep bringing us thier music. I was afraid we were nearing an end at BB / SUL. This group has brought me so much enjoyment. Super stoked at the prospect of more but grateful for what we have already received.

    Other than a few silly out of line comments of which you will get in any forum or social media platform I can't see why this thread is an "embarrassment". The comments on this thread are mostly just the fans keen to see what's going on with their favourite band and speculating a little bit. It's harmless and not embarrassing at all.


    Go tell your friends or relatives that you are 42 pages deep into a discussion on the possible release date of something (you aren't sure what) by AC/DC. : )

    Havent posted in about 2 years!

    However, I love the band...

    Would i like some new stuff ? -yes

    Would it be on par with 1980? - hopeful, but not likely...

    I love acdc because of what they've done, not because there may, or may not, be a new album.

    Be thankful for what we have been given- the first time you heard....._____, the album and,or, track that resoniates with you,...etc etc ....for me, new material, it doesnt really matter..

    Thanks to bonlives, jem, jonalba,mati and many others members and admins that have made me think, laugh, learn and reminisce about my favourite band- and for making this the best place for any acdc fan.

    Anything is a bonus, ultimately...not even necessary .

    Not likely. Jesse and Brian are very good friends. I’ve been lucky enough to share a bit of conversation with both at the same gig. They go way back now.

    Well, that seems to end speculation as to what the issue is.

    And I thought it was quite amusing that the Boogie guy was quite insistent on speaking his mind about Jem guarding the info... kinda like bringing righteous indignation to a gunfight... Or should I say hammer fight.

    Not a single official word about a new album. And it`s now a long time since they were in the studio. I will be dissapointed but not surprised if we don`t hear anything about this.

    SFC, I'm sure we will hear something not that far from now.

    I believe no one knows exactly what contractual obligations the band must fulfill in terms of new music so the record company might be pressuring them as well, for what, we're not sure but there must be something, therefore it will hit the news at some point this year or next year tops.

    Do the band actually have a record deal now or was Rock Or Bust the end of their current deal? Could be negotiating that of course.
