AC/DC Bomb Hoaxer Fined
Radu Halasz, a 40 year old man, has been fined after making a hoax bomb threat to police just before the AC/DC concert in Bucharest. Halasz rang police informing them that there was a bomb at the Constitution Square, where the concert was held on the 16th of May.
Surprisingly, Halasz has been let off with only a very light punishment, weighing in at only 250 Euros (304 USD, 355 AUD, 213 GBP)
Over 50,000 fans took part in the concert, all having to wait a small time after the threat was made.
Police said that they had identified the man a short time after the joke call was made.
Halasz was let off as he stated that it was his 40th birthday and he was rather drunk when he made the call.
