i was blessed to see AC/DC 4 times this tour
and hopefullt twice in oz next february
yes i want all the obscure stuff
but i love seeing them live no matter what they play
if you seen them on this tour your lucky,i have so many mates who didnt get tickets, even tho i told them to tout it, (30 quid outside wembley stadium ,honest)
youve got all the records if you want to hear the songs
enjoy the boys while they are gigging...this could be the last time
Guns for Hire should be played every night along with either House Is On Fire, Flick, or Bedlam. Regarding that speech from the boys about FOTS, what I got from that was that they like it themselves but they don't think anyone else does. They say something like "We thought we would just put it out there and see how it went... and it didn't do too well to be honest. They say that was our biggest flop."
Them not playing those songs has nothing to do with his voice. If he can sing STT, TS and BIB every night then he could sing most of the songs from Flick. Not like on the album of course but he could make it work like he does with the other songs I mentioned.
Maybe, but he did Givin The Dog A Bone 2 years ago without too much trouble.
NS is a stone cold classic.
So would Guns For Hiiiiiiiiire, Shoot You With Desiiiiiiiiiiiiire...
:)
Why don't they flick the friggin switch!
because, they hurt their back trying to get the fly off of the wall, after it blew up the video.
They should play Girls Got Rythym again.
and Touch Too Much
basically the whole HTH album
I could live with that! Beating around the bush! I think Angus' fingers would fall off trying to play that one these days.
Just listening to RnRT, 1st gig of the tour a year ago....Shit, the perfect opener! And the backing vocals were dead on compared to now! A masterpiece!
Thunderstruck was a better opener in my mind. it should have stayed.
thats one thing they need, a consistent opener over the tours.
So many openers they could choose from, would rather they had half a dozen and just rotated them
Thunderstruck
Guns For Hire
Hells Bells
Riff Raff
Live Wire
Back In Black
SUL
WHat they should do id a Bon set and Brian set.
they could open with Live Wire for the bon set, and Hells Bells for the rian set, and close with LTBR for Bon, and FTATR for Brian
By the way BT i agree with you, never understood that.
Ive been watching some razors edge stuff latley and thunderstruck should have been kept, but imagine this, they finish Train and without stopping phil imediatly goes into the hihat intro like from TRE tour...it should be done.
Other way round...Thunderstruck then RnR Train....then IYWB...Then STT......
No No No! If you want blood needs to come late in the set when the volume is up there where it belongs, after the Jack / War Machine / Anything. Just when everybody is thinking the pace slowed down, Bang!
See in my set list there is no slowing of the pace....or Jack/War Machine/AG :) Call yourself a fan? :P
Gah, what was I thinking! *Hides*
Ya see... I like where youre coming from with that 56. If they really want to promote this thing, then they should probably play some songs offa it!
Would love to hear Cold Hearted Man and Borrowed Time. Those two songs would be the best way to promote it! That would indeed be the tits!
And one of the only things that can save this tour from complete setlist failure as well...
Agreed?
I don't quite agree with the choice of songs, apart from that you're right. Time to make up for the laziness!
well, once people see the circus krone dvd they will be thinking, "Why dont they play this stuff?"
Indeed!
I would cut out Cold Hearted Man, and Snake Eye, and put in Down On The Borderline andHard As A Rock.
