Brian Johnson should host every show on television.

Brian Johnson should host my show.

I cede my show to Brian Johnson.

Ha yes , Brian just seems such a great bloke. I wonder if Brian will be attempting the “how many times a man can say Me Darlin” world record during the Dolly episode?

The song that Brian sings to Dolly in the clip is one of the tracks that he recorded with the Naked Schoolgirls back in 1995. I had to chuckle at the way he didn't sing the line immediately before which says "Left for dead in a stranger's bed".

The Naked Schoolgirls did some really great tracks. Brian did all the vocals, then they tried out several singers. Kelly Schafer of Atheist being the most notable, which turned into the band Big Machine. They played several shows around Tampa Bay at the time. The first gig was in Sarasota, we didnt know what to expect, but they played the new tracks and AC/DC. It was right before Ball Breaker sessions, I assumed it was new AC/DC material, I asked Brian after the show and he said nah mate those are just Sarasota songs.

Heard the Thunder, Shadow on the Wall, Falling in love, Thunder, Somebodys Lookin, Love Erosion, Deadly Sin, Love Erosion, All women are Crazy, Wild Wild West and another track Gun something. It would be great if Brian went and did a full production on the songs. Party Time for Two and Deadly Sin were polished up for the radio at the time and sound great.

The "Gun" track was called "Bad Gun" and a death metal version of Deadly Sin was recorded by Schaefer's band, Neurotica, in 1998 on their debut album called Seed, which was produced by Brian Johnson.

I should probably have said thrash metal or however you'd describe it... and you can actually hear Brian on this version. I'm not a fan of this take on the song, it's not a patch on the original.

the Billy Joel one isnt much !

its not really "life on the road" stories tho is it..its just the story of the entertainer from their roots to today...most of it we already know..the Joe Walsh episode is very tame to tales of "life on the road"..

I watched 2 last night . The Mark Knopfler and Mick Fleetwood episodes . I thought both were very good . It's great to see Brian doing these, he comes across really well. Brian looked genuinely moved when listening to one of Mr Knopfler songs.. Can you imagine walking into a pub to find them two having a chat . Mr Fleetwood is mad as a box of frogs but very interesting . It would be great to hear what they talked about off camera . I know it’s not the greatest platform to judge Brian’s singing but after listening to Route 66 I’m pretty sure he‘s not up to touring .

One last thing ……………..All of my music heroes are getting old

Life On The Road is a well worth watching
